Franki is the perfect combination of desire to hunt and willingness to please; he has excellent hunting drive in the field, he is very strong in water with excellent nose. Here is Bessie with my 3 1/2 years old son at the time in my back yard 2 x Derby 1 with 4H in nose. Sloms 1 all 4, VGP 1 320 pts NAKP 1, HD free A 2, FW V2, Winner of top Derby Award in North America in 2006), Winner of top Solms/AZP Award in North America in 2007), Winner of top VGP Award in North America with the highest score of any VGP dog in year 2008) Top performance winner of the NAKP in 2008 V2 excelled in 2008 NAKP, Bessie is truly an exceptional and outstanding hunter in the field and loves water. She has a very intense point. She is an extremely nose driven female. She has continuously demonstrated exceptional desire and cooperation. The last few years she has been hunting in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and South Dakota. She has pointed and retrieved various birds in all type of cover and terrain. Bessie is truly an exceptional dog that never ceases to surprise. She is very calm in the house and is great with small children and other dogs. Manny and Bessie earned the best Derby dog in the year of 2006, where she earned 4h in nose; but for Bessie, it was not over. Bessie continued to impress in 2007 by being the top Solms/AZP dog in NADKC. Once again, Bessie managed to earn the top dog of the year 2007 in the NADKC. In the year 2008 was the Grand Finale for both of us; Bessie truly demonstrated what a true DK is and what she is capable of doing. September/October 2008, Manny and Bessie entered the International NAKP/IKP in Michigan. Bessie received the V2 in the conformation rating, and also earned 4h in the water search. This made Bessie the top dog of the International test in North America with all 4 and 4h in water. A few weeks later Bessie got tested again, this time in the Utility/VGP test; again for one more time Bessie was exceptional, she received Prize 1, 320 pts and earned the rating of top VGP dog of the year in the NADKC in 2008. Bessie’s natural ability, desire to work, and cooperation made the impossible possible. It was a pleasure to work with her. This breeding should produce calm dogs with plenty of desire in the feld and water, excellent cooperation and natural ability. We know the background of Franki and Bessie, (Hege-Haus, Asseburg, and Pottsiepen world known blood Lines) they have super noses, the love for the water, very good cooperation, desire fine game, and are eager to please. This is a dual status breeding of conformation and performance. Puppies from this litter will be placed to licensed hunters and DK testing homes.
